Accommodation:- You’ll find the accommodation at Etali Safari Lodge sheer bliss in any one of our eight luxurious air-conditioned suites, each set apart for total privacy in its own bushveld domain and each with its own en-suite bathroom. The mix of cool and earthy colours in the decor is a peaceful contrast to the unsurpassed beauty of the sweet-thorn Acacia trees outside.

All suites have a private sun deck fitted with a heated whirlpool, with a spectacular view of the surrounding bush. Each room has an interior and exterior shower, fireplace, mini bar fridge, mini-safe, air conditioning, overhead fans, direct dial telephones. Bathrobes, hairdryers, insect repellent, sun block, shampoo, conditioner and body lotions are all available in the suite. International adapters are available.

Big comfortable beds with fine crisp linen promise an unforgettable night’s sleep beneath the thatched roof.

Activities:- Early morning and afternoon the wildlife safari game drives in the Madikwe Game Reserve are extremely rewarding and will bring you close to a wonderful diversity of wildlife. Other activities include dining in the bush and guided walks with highly qualified and experienced guides.

Wildlife:- Lion, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard - Big Five- also cheetah and wild dog - Magnificent seven.

Giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboon, monkey, hippo, crocodile, and a variety of antelope including kudu, impala, waterbuck, Springbok, Wildebeest, Eland, Blesbok, Tsessebe and Steenbok are regularly seen, along with a number of the more elusive or less common animals. With a bird population of over 250 different species. Bring your binoculars!

Access:- Etali Safari Lodge is just 3 1/2 hours drive from Johannesburg, or if you wish to fly in, a 50-minute scheduled flight by Madikwe Air leaves from JIA to Madikwe every day. A Private charter in a fixed wing can also be arranged.

Child policy:- We regret that we are unable to accommodate children less than 12 years unless on special arrangement. This is mainly because we are not fenced in and we maintain the ambience for the wellness centre. Extra beds can be provided in the suites to accommodate children sharing with parents

Communication:- The lodge has telephone, Internet access, satellite television and fax.

Power Supply:- The lodge is powered by ESCOM and power points are available in the rooms for chargers, electrical shavers and hairdryers, they are also linked to a generator in case of a Power failure.
