The lodge offers some of the best views in Madikwe as well as the feeling of tranquility given by the mature trees (mostly leadwoods) under which the main building and 5 luxury bush villas nestle. An intimate homely setting offering complete privacy.

The exquisitely appointed main lodge overlooks a waterhole frequented by elephant families and other big game. Motswiri offers the option of either individual bookings or exclusive use of the lodge.

The lodge is ideal for corporate, family/friend groups of up to 10 who do not wish to share the facilities with outsiders.

Accommodation:- All Motswiri bush lodge villas have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, gas fireplaces, bathrooms en suite, beautifully appointed bathrooms, outdoor rock showers and private wrap around wooden decks, the design has been to blend the interiors creating the blend of space and the bush utilising the retractable doors and windows. The 3 bedroom family suite is an exclusive unit for families with young children.

Activities:- Dawn and Dusk Game Drives with experenced game rangers in open vehicles.

Wildlife:- Lion, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard - Big Five- also cheetah and wild dog - Magnificent seven.

Giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboon, monkey, hippo, crocodile, and a variety of antelope including kudu, impala, waterbuck, Springbok, Wildebeest, Eland, Blesbok, Tsessebe and teenbok are regularly seen, along with a number of the more elusive or less common animals. With a bird population of over 250 different species. Bring your binoculars!

Access:- Motswiri Safari Lodge is just 3 1/2 hours drive from Johannesburg, or if you wish to fly in, Air transfers are available on a daily basis from Johannesburg International Airport (JIA) to and from Madikwe.

Child policy:- Children under the age of 6 years are not permitted on Big Five Game Drives, Children 6yrs and older permitted on the game drives at the Game Rangers descression.

Communication:- The lodge has no Telephone, communication by Cellphone.

Power Supply:- The lodge is powered by ESCOM and power points are available in the rooms for chargers, electrical shavers and hairdryers, they are also linked to a generator in case of a Power failure. Electricity voltage is 220v.
