Madikwe Hills Game Lodge Accommodation
Ten luxury air-conditioned glass fronted suites each have their own verandah and plunge pool,complete with mini-bar, fire place, outside showers, double indoor showers and underfloor heating. One suite is a four sleeper family unit.
Activities
Enjoy open vehicle game drives with experienced game rangers as well as walking safaris and bush breakfasts in the Madikwe Game Reserve.
Wellness centre
The wellness centre, which offers the utmost in relaxing and rejuvenating treatments with the in-house therapist, as well as a fully equipped gym, are tucked away in the lush setting behind the main lodge.
Wildlife
Lion, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard - Big Five- also cheetah and wild dog - Magnificent seven.
Giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboon, monkey, hippo, crocodile, and a variety of antelope including kudu, impala, waterbuck, Springbok, Wildebeest, Eland, Blesbok, Tsessebe and Steenbok are regularly seen, along with a number of the more elusive or less common animals. With a bird population of over 250 different species. Bring your binoculars!
Access
Madikwe Game Reserve can be accessed by road or by daily departure - air charter departing from Grand Central Airport. The reserve is approximately three and a half hours drive from Johannesburg. Guests would route via Zeerust before proceeding north on the Gaborone road and use two entries Abjaterskop and Wonderboom Gate.
Child Policy
Children 10 yrs
and over as the Main Camp is unfortunatly not geared for younger
children.
