
Location:- The Bush House offers only six en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms - a personal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere is guaranteed. The lodge has a lounge with DSTV (for sporting emergencies only), bar, covered veranda and a rock swimming pool overlooking the waterhole. The camp has all the comforts of home, bathrooms with showers and baths, 220-volt electricity, heaters and air-conditioning units in the rooms. There is cell phone reception and the office is equipped with Internet and landlines.

Accommodation:- There are five en-suite rooms. each room is tastefully furnished with aircon,hair dryer, coffee and tea facility, 220v electricity, percale linen, shower and bath. Each room has a mosquito net canopy over the large and very comfortable bed
Beauty Salon:- Pamper yourself with a wide range of products and treatments. While away the heat of the day in the salon being spoilt with manicures, pedicures, facials and massages to name but a few!
Activities:- Early morning and afternoon the wildlife safari game drives in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve are extremely rewarding and will bring you close to a wonderful diversity of wildlife. Other activities include dining in the bush and guided walks with highly qualified and experienced guides.
Wildlife:- Lion, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard - Big Five- also cheetah and wild dog - Magnificent seven.
Giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboon, monkey, hippo, crocodile, and a variety of antelope including kudu, impala, waterbuck, Springbok, Wildebeest, Eland, Blesbok, Tsessebe and Steenbok are regularly seen, along with a number of the more elusive or less common animals. With a bird population of over 250 different species. Bring your binoculars!
Access:- Drive from Johannesburg to Magaliesburg along the N14 and the R24.
From Magaliesburg, take the R509 through Derby to Koster (69km). In Koster turn right to Swartruggens (34km).
Continue straight through Swartruggens towards Groot Marico and Zeerust (60km). This stretch is on the new toll road which costs R45.00 each way.
After entering the town of Zeerust keep on straight down the main road until you see a sign for Gaberone and Madikwe Game Reserve, turn right where indicated.
Continue on this road for about 90kms, passing two rural villages, the Madikwe road Takeaways and the Nietverdiend Spar and Police Station.
You will see the main gate into the Madikwe Reserve – the Abjagterskop Gate butdo not turn in there. Continue straight for another 7kms and you will come to the Wonderboom gate. (Opposite the sign for Supingstad on your left).
Turn into the gate and inform the gate attendant that you are a guest at The Bush House, they may ask for confirmation, please produce your invoice as proof.
Child Policy:- Children of all ages are welcome at The Bush House. Children under the age of about 10 are able to share with parents on camp stretchers. Babysitting can be arranged by prior arrangement. Small children are taken out on game drives at management’s discretion. A special kids menu is offered.
