Jaci's Safari Lodge is built in a curve around an ancient termite mound
and masterfully blends into its magnificent surroundings. The
interiors reflect Jaci's Safari Lodge's unique style and attention to details.
Originally built as Jan and Jaci's home, this exclusive bush retreat
accommodates a maximum of 20 (twenty) guests and has an unsurpassed African
safari feel to it.
Jaci's Safari Lodge is situated at an ideal spot overlooking an established and well used water hole, under a grove of Tamboti trees, on the edge of the Marico River in the Madikwe Game Reserve.

Featuring only eight large rooms and the exclusive 2 bed-roomed "Nare Suite" - all built with shaggy thatched roofs, canvas walls and large tented windows - to create a true safari atmosphere, inviting you to enjoy your bush surroundings.
Weddings and honeymoons
Jaci's provides outstanding venues, complete with a team of people to ensure your special day is hassle free. At Jaci's we assist you in planning the perfect day. We have catered for several weddings from 80 to 5 guests, each created around the individual needs of the wedding couple.
Our wedding package includes our usual daily activities and meals. The extra details (flowers, pastor, photographer, etc.) are privately arranged and we can assist once everything is at the lodge. Contact us directly for more details, information and inspiration. At Jaci's we can accommodate 36 adults (between Safari and Tree Lodge) which allows two different venues for the ceremony and for the reception.
Jaci's Safari Lodge Activities
Between the early morning and evening game drives and walks, there is a cool swimming pool overlooking the river. Paddle your own canoe, lie in a hammock, sip an ice-cold drink, watch the birds, the butterflies and beasts, relax, unwind. The day, the place, the ambience is yours, in peace.
Wildlife
Lion, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard - Big Five- also cheetah and wild dog - Magnificent seven.
Giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboon, monkey, hippo, crocodile, and a variety of antelope including kudu, impala, waterbuck, Springbok, Wildebeest, Eland, Blesbok, Tsessebe and Steenbok are regularly seen, along with a number of the more elusive or less common animals. With a bird population of over 250 different species. Bring your binoculars!
Early risers may catch a glimpse of Bush Babies returning to roost in the trees around the rooms or enjoy the morning Francolin calls
Access
Madikwe Game Reserve can be accessed by
road or by daily departure - air charter departing from Grand
Central Airport. The reserve is approximately three and a half
hours drive from Johannesburg. Guests would route via Zeerust
before proceeding north on the Gaborone road and use two entries
Abjaterskop and Wonderboom Gate.
Child Policy
Children sharing
with their parents are comfortably accommodated on camping stretchers
in the rooms. Maximum 3 children per room
